Does anyone think there will be ways to purchase upgrades to rings- like for sword rings, buy different swords that'll show up and do more damage?

Sounds like a nice idea actually.

Another possibility is that maybe rings could slowly evolve in animation as the charge level goes up or maybe split evolution paths for rings? (Similiar to that of Eevee in Pokemon)

hm... an ascetics upgrade for rings... maybe a quest, maybe just spending ridiculous amounts of gold/cash. I like the idea.

I've been suggesting alternative affects packages for Rings that could be sold like Avatar Hair Styles for a while now. It would be a great gold sink, and I could see it being used even if the early ones are just recolored graphics.
