I think it would be nice to use the weapons we have now but, also make new ones since I know that the main thing own gaia is how long you've been on here and a lot of the weapons cost a lot of gold that new people can't get unless they quest for a while, so to be fair to older gaians I'd think it would be cool to use the weapons we have now. Plus they would be more useful then just being pretty.

*Has there been any release on information regarding weapons? Do you buy them from a shop somewhere, or do the Gaian items that we already posses end up having abilities?

*What happens when we are K.Oed?

*Are we able to enter combat with one another, or only with the fiends that Gaia provides us?

There should be that since most rpgs are like that. It would be a little strange and different without it. I can't believe their is already people complaining about this. When it comes out just don't play it. People are stupid.

i like the idea of rings.
gaia doesnt want this battle system to overrun the site because it doesnt want to become just another mmo, so they wont add weapons. they also wont use items form the past because (a) they would have to add code to existing scripts, and (b) they want everyone to start at the same level.
