What antivirus are you using anyway? Have you tried AVG, Avast or some other free ones and see if they can pick off the trojan?

Since this is now more of a technical matter, why don't you ask the guys over here for some advice?

From what Halzy posted, you most likely can fix this simply by updating the Flash player.

If you're on a home system and can't do it because your parents won't let you, try telling them you need it to watch the news on CNN or Fox or whatever their political leanings favors. They may even do it for you.

Then what we're running into here is beyond the scope of this board.

It's a simple fix if you have the knowledge - you go to the Flash site, you click to download the update, you move on with life when it's done.

But if you can't do that, then you're honestly not at a skill level where we can help you all that much. It's a very basic computer operation that you're going to have to learn how to do if you ever have your own system.

It won't. The only difference you'll notice *may* be in some slight performance improvements. Flash is a program that runs the various Flash-based widgets and such you run across on the Web - you don't get new content because you have a new version.

You *SHOULD*, however, see the "virus" go away.
