Am-I crazy to think each area would have had its own mini-game?

Anyway, I've been playing with the idea ever since someone linked to the Adobe Edge article on zOMG:
"zOMG also features several mini games that earn users progress without combat."
I thought: "No, not quite, but what if?"

Cue few weeks of doing research and coming up with various weaksauce concepts.
The only one that endured was: bring the Prom pseudo-DDR to zOMG at large or in Gold Beach.
Dance your way to CL10.0, standing dazed in a mob of P3s fighting Sand Fluffs while Landshark is out.

And I want to play all the Gaia games/flash thing without having to get out of zOMG/open a new window while we're at it.

All dreams aside, I'll try and be there.

Why is it so easy for me to imagine one of the devs getting mobbed, alone, by Barnacle Fluffs? Considering they're PROBABLY upset at the people who made them the enemy, they'd probably root on sight and come in for the kill...

I see three points to it.

1) Even the devs need some downtime. Kick back, enjoy themselves, and they'll be more productive at other times.

2) If they play the game themselves, they can get a hands-on feel for what does and doesn't work right.

3) Is this EVER a good way to build a bond with the community! 3nodding

1 is the only one i have a problem with not because i think people do not need breaks but is that why they get the wekkends off? [thanks for not flaming n-n]
