Why don't we discuss it now? D:

If we were to do it now then we wouldnt get as many people, this gives time for people to learn about the event that is going on here.
frankly, while a zOMG meeting would seem more "appropriate" it would probably be more productive to have it as a forum discussion so even people that can't make it (or missed the memo) can read up and get involved.

Or we could do both. wink

lets do both then lol, PM some devs too.

we can do a pre meetup meeting to get some ideas then toss more around later.

I think it is a good plan.

Well of the idea comes down to a boycott we would need alot of people for it.

True but it would still be good to get a bit organized ahead of time, so we have some idea of what we can or can't do.

*laughs* captchca thing for me is Nut Case btw, I find this funny.

I just wanted to get as many people as possible together. The more ideas the better!

Then let's at least get a head start...y'know, in this forum. ^^"

Regardless, it's a nice idea~
It would be even more epic if you can scrape together some devs to visit.

Of course! I just haven't seen much action in the forum, except a lot of "FML ZOMG IS GONNA BE GONE NUUU"
But I'm sure once we get over that we will be productive with our discussion. lol
I wonder if anyone knows someone who is good at making siggys, maybe we can use one for the event and for supporters?

What: An unofficial meat to save zOMG!

When: Saturday, February 25th

Where: Bass'ken Lake

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

By those rocks.

Theme: Colorful! Time to get out some neon colors and rainbows!

Why: To discuss zOMG! being put on the backburner, and ideas to save it.

We know mostly everyone has lost hope. But [JK] didn't say zOMG! not getting any updates was permanent. Maybe it'll take a while, but I know we can do something. We have proved ourselves in the past.

Let's get together and not give up!

Well, although zOMG is still up and running now, eventually it'll get some glitches which won't be able to be fixed because of nobody working on it. And then it'll slowly... die...

Without updates becomes decay, if zOMG is mothballed and placed on the backburner while gaia works on another game then it could become just as the Frontier game did, inactive and broken.

We really can't change the fact that JK has been assigned to the new game.

Your attempts are useless

If people just gave up on good ideas then the world would be a very sad place.

np, hope it goes somewhere n_n

Just for the record though: I really hope this stays away from "let's boycott that new game that JK is working on". It's *his* new project, and for all the love and dedication he's given zOMG and the community I don't think it's fair to boycott his new project, and potentially even harm his career.

they gave up on housing too, and on towns.... Gaia's kinda fickle in that regard - I don't think we'll be seeing zOMG development anytime soon, but I wouldn't deny that there's a chance.
