I went into Zen Garden with only a CL of a 2.3 and make the mistake of attacking one of the dolls... my net lagged and the next thing i know im surounded by 7 freaky dolls and dazed. and im sitting here like "WTF just hit me..." sweatdrop

Whilst lantern farming one often forms a crew to up drops. Once the crew is full, we tend to rule that screen. Other players/crew are more than welcome to hit up the plentiful other areas for Lanterns.

But sometimes they're nooby and/or don't know about the other areas.

So we politely ask them to move to another area because in the end it cuts down the drops for everyone. Of course this sometimes comes across as "My sandbox get out!" so some people think they have to fight on behalf of those we ask to leave. As was the case just two nights ago. This person completely missed the point and threatened to come in and start fire rain and all that.

So they come charging in and regardless of whether Lanterns were spawned continuously ran fire rain. Too bad it didn't do a damn thing and instead resulted in more orbs for me at least. A few minutes later someone else came charging through being chased by nearly ten drums. In the midst of the massive lantern spawn. Epic battle commence!

Why are those moments more satisfying than boss fights? xD

Lol, I remember the first time I tried to take on one of those drums in Zen Gardens. I had just finished the Gnome General quest and was feeling kinda cocky. So off I go to the ZG and head up to where the drums are. I target one and unleash everything I had on it. If it knocked off one HP that was it. rofl Two good hits by it and I was toast. In my defense though this happened before I found out that different coloured names on the animated actually meant something, and weren't just there for kicks.

My epic fail moment is sitting there like a dope as I was saw farming and some inconsiderate players kept running towards my crew with papa saw in tow... Then watching us all scramble to heal and defib each other as the screen lagged repeatedly gonk

Okay: Earlier today, I was in the Zen Gardens. I was a panel away from the Null Chamber when I saw Katsumi's Doll. It just wandered in from nowhere, screamed something like "Die, you naturals!", then started to attack random people. So, everyone(and I mean EVERYONE) started to attack it. The ratio was about 16 people:1 doll. Well, I got dazed and didn't want to bother anyone since the Doll was at 1/2 health. I awoke and got back to the scene as fast as I could (maybe 15 seconds) so I could fight and get credit when it was defeated. When I got there, everyone was gone! No doll, no people, just a bunch of Sakura Fluffs.

Can you say: 'Wtf?' ? 'Cause I know I did. :'D I still need to finish that quest....Damn it.

I had the same Kats doll experience! It went on a rampage towards the Shrine, and I was at the gate with about two others trying to kill it buut we died. So it goes farther into the Shrine and gets gangraped yo D:


G-g-g-giftboxes..... DX I was just wondering around on the East side of Bass Ken (AT NIGHT) Killing Grass Fluffs. La Dee Da, about 5 boxes come saying random things like: We are cavernously.... Blah Blah blah.

So I head back to the Windmill and I see a flock of about 10 maybe more Giftboxes always flying around randomly.. DONT GO THERE AT NIGHT YO D:

And this was AFTER they said they'd fixed it!

Win:
Sneaking past She-Wolf without dying
Escaping Giftboxes (or rather, sneaking away while boxes attack someone else)
Making Katsumi's Doll spawn four or more times in a day
That time I hunted lanterns with a full crew and the screen froze for five whole minutes from the sheer force of our butt-whoop.

Mean:
Scaredycat + Drum + N00b = Escape!
Katsumi's Doll + Crew that's not mine + Final Blow = "Dammit Renacide!"

Fail:
"Maybe if I just keep running it'll go away!"
Walking over a bridge to find someone's undefeated nexus lantern on the other side.
"Worry not, citizens! My epic spin shall destroy the fluffs!". They were cherry-fluffs. Everyone died.

Waaaaay back, when I was ~CL 3, I was in a crew doing the bridge quest, and we almost finished the lantern nexus (Long, long fight), when some noob targeted a cherry fluff with a solar ray, and it exploded on all of us, killing us all... WE WERE PISSED!

Cherry Fluffs and Landshark are known the most.
Saws and Gift Boxes are known also.

Well, there was a time where I was in Zen Garden.
I was on the Katsumi Doll Quest, and so were soooooooo many others.
We ended up in ONE frame!
It was a HUGE BIG a** lag!
There was downpours of fire rain!
Cosmic Rays of Solar Rays!
Deadly fins of the Shark Attack!
Bullets were flying!
Swords were drawn!
People were being defibbed!
...It was effing Epic.
I got credit for it.
I mostly healed and defib people, and then proceeded to help attack the doll.
It was the most... awesome-est thing yet.
