When asked about future plans for zOMG! at one of the ATA meetings, Lanzer said that the game was understaffed and it would remain that way unless interest in it increased. You can find his original post about the matter here.

So, I came up with an idea. Us zOMGaians could go into the Welcome to Gaia forum and post about zOMG! in the threads of new users. We can tell them that the game's a great way to make gold, meet new people and that it has a great storyline.

WARNING: When talking to new users about zOMG!, try not to make it sound like a total advertisement. Merely suggest. Save the advertising for your sigs.

(10/17/11): Summary of the latest ATA: z! supporters post their concerns about the future of zOMG!. Lanzer responds with lame answers that make it seem like the staff care about the game, but we all know they really don't.

(1/31/11): Here's what Lanzer had to say about the layoff of Mavdoc. As for integrating zOMG! with the main site.

(1/10/11): At the latest ATA, I asked Lanzer if there are any plans to enlarge the zOMG! development team. He answered with this.

It's a good idea, and one I tried a couple of months ago. But you have to personalize each message, not just copy and paste the same post to a bunch of new Gaians. Or you will get a warning... twisted
