Not all rooms can be 100% reset, and the case goes double for GM rooms.

It's possible, yeah. But usually extremely unlikely, considering the aggro range. But it's a miracle when the room does get reset, even in a small way.

I think it's just something you get a hang of... like after tanking YM for a while, you'll instinctively be able to figure out where the reset points are.

I usually find my reset points are achieved by standing in other doors... like:
- In the 4-way room, standing in Crack or Bottom/Top Left Door
- In the big (Top / Mid / Bottom) room, I usually stand at Bottom or Top door or all the way to the right on the bottom level
- One-ways - You usually want to go as far left or right as you possible can on your screen.

I aggro the room pretty fast though. Go in, hit something right away, then run to my aggro spot while making sure everything hits me once.
Sometimes running around to try and find a reset point makes things less likely to reset D8

Be sure to avoid attacking the monsters you wish to reset.

If a monster receives damage from it's targeted player, 30 seconds must pass before it may reset.
Bear in mind, reflect damage applies to this mechanic as well (Improbability Sphere/Tefflon Spray) , which is why some monsters will continuously chase you even if you did not attack them.

IIRC, Mimics cannot be reset, unless it's targeted player shifts to another tier in a 2-tier room (Commonly referred to as ledges) .

The 30-second monster cool-down I mentioned may seem dubious, but I can confirm it's existence as I have conducted multiple tests myself with the aid of a stop-watch application.
I'd actually like to record and upload a demonstration of it, when I have the time.

Is it important for me clarify that the information I have posted only holds true for the Yellow Maze of DMS.
The monster formula for the Green Maze is somewhat different, and seemingly more complex.
