Honestly though I'm getting VERY sick of people begging to be rocked every 5 seconds. I've seen Rock Nazi's at the whirlpool refusing to crew with people without the Rock Ring and once crewed they beg to be rocked every screen.

Begging to be rocked is just annoying. It also makes you look like you can't play unless others buff you with every ring in the game.

No offense meant at all but maybe that's why you were kicked?

Are those people also bringing turtle? That kills rock armor and those pinheads were probably using Turtle the moment they engage an enemy. That could explain why they keep asking for a recast. Once the armor update is done, that shouldn't be a problem.

It's people like you that drive me up a freakin' wall. You think the game should be totally solo-able just because you don't like playing with mean people (I don't blame you for not wanting to play with mean people, but you can't expect the game to be easier because you don't want to play with others.)
Yeah, you're gonna run into shitty crews. I can't begin to tell you how many times I've been treated poorly in crews, but I get out there and try and don't immediately turn away from what could be an awesome bunch of players just because Susie So-and-so was mean to me. I leave/get kicked, settle myself, and try again with another crew.
If you're finding that you can't seem to land a good spontaneous crew, see if some of your friends would go with you or try and get into a guild where people would be willing to crew.

It is possible to solo just about everywhere, people have done it before. However, it takes a lot of strategy, time, effort, and careful use to rings and conserving Stamina.

It's supposed to be hard. A bit part of the game is joining up with other people to make things easier. (Well, spamming rings on a boss makes things easier, but it just makes more mobs spawn.) Which is why most people don't wait until they're exactly 7.0 to solo Duneslam on Easy. They just join a crew to make it easier. Making things just as easy when you're soloing defeats the purpose of having a crew in the first place, as well as taking away the achievement of being able to defeat a boss without anyone else's help.

The ideal way to play the game would be if everyone knew exactly what to do at any given time... but that's just something to reach for. zOMG! is a casual kind of game, after all. You should be able to drop a crew if it's not working out and then come back later to find a better one. Or heck, you can just switch servers if you can't find a good crew.
