It has potential I think... especially as a vector for the staff to introduce new storyline elements.

I don't think I would come here everyday and keep bumping it if I didn't think it was worth the effort.

This coming from someone who has code in his signature?

I don't think it's too complicated to put in practice...

If it is complicated, it could definately be dumbed down.

Think of it like a heirarchy:

individual user
individual clan
allied player factions
broad sweeping npc factions

And it's just a set of catagories with subdivisions.

you have the overall clans: A, B, C & D

Like the Gambinos, the Von Helsons, the Aliens and the Zombies

All the clans and allied player factions would fit into one of those groups...
