I'm getting a poll. I've never tanked and I'm curious to see what everyone's preferences are. I've read Omni's threads so don't link me to her's if you want to link threads. wink

Omnipresent Warlord

My go-to set is Diagnose, Bandage, Wish, Meat, Hot Foot, Iron Will, Integ, FF.

It can handle both high and low level crews with ease and Hot Foot has a dodge debuff with rage, is ranged, and has a great AoE with rage too unlike shuriken and guns.

Tenacious Sage

I go by Wish, Diag, Bandage, Meat, Buff, HF, Fitness, and FF since I don't have Integ 3nodding

Regular

Meat, iron, bandage, wish, diag, hack, fitness, ff. works for me c:

Rogue

If I bring all cl 10, mine would be
bandage || diag || wish || meat || buff || fitness|| defib || hunter bow

Buff, Bandage, Wish, Diagnose <----& Hack, Tape (CL 1.0 to get higher stats), Fortune's Favor, Integrity

Meat is probably needed if you're less than 11.4 or if you die much. xd

So it looks like only one ring varies on average. What are your opinions on having one attack ring, versus no attack ring and something else such a defib or another passive?

TasteChaos's King

Duck

I've tried everything...
Hornets, cause when the vamps are "catted" they sometimes reset, I've tried QS, dervish, fire rain,...
But for me it would still be
Meat, bandy, diag, wish, buff, hot foot, FF, integ
Though I'm practicing my veggie tanking so lately I replace that with another buff.

Rule of thumb: always bring one attack ring. For me, anyways.

Having an attack is good. It gives you instant aggro of the room.
You won't have to wait for the room to aggro on you.

As for my set, I bring

Band, Diag, Wish, Shuriken, Buff, Buff, Meat, Fitness.

Sometimes though, I bring another passive instead of another buff.

You really need the attack to be effective in combat.. Without it, your stamina will shoot up and you'll be basically leeching. xd

If you can't survive with an attack, then don't bring one, but then you just stink at tanking, so... yeah. xd

Personally I like tape over meat, because it gives me.... the power to save my friends! Dun dun dun!
Lol. razz Really more so that I can solo entire rooms when the team lags behind. xd

Defib should probably not be brought by the tank. mad It's a handicap. :s Don't handicap the tank. xd
