ATA was so long, I gave up about half way through. ...
This could help.

I really don't need to read the ATA. Gaia has made it's decision and it's unlikely to change.

I got there late because well, I got there late.... rolleyes

Still, I have to say that they were at least trying to make up for last week's debacle.
They had a lot of repressentation at the ATA from Gaia, and a lot of questions actually received multiple answers, which says to me that the Admins were paying pretty close attention.
And there were even a few hopeful answers for zOMG! as well, so I'd honestly have to give it a 6, maybe even a 7 when comparing it to last week.

Still, I would have appreciated seeing Swarf or [JK] there. It would have been nice to have someone thre who I percieve as being on my side when it comes to zOMG!.

And, I would have liked to have my question about automating the Server Cycling process answered.
I still don't get why they don't do that.

I thought there was a lot more responses and feedback than any other ATA I've seen... I don't think they were ignoring all zOMG questions, nor were all the questions they were answering all about zOMG. If anything, I think in their preparedness for our onslaught of zOMG-related questions, they answered a LOT more questions than usual. It's nice to see that happening, even though they were not all about zOMG. Always seems like only those posting on the 1-2nd page really get answered at all... neutral

In regards to how they addressed concerns about zOMG... I'm more dejected than fueled by anger now... It really doesn't seem like they will continue it, and that they are actually pretty set against it. I was optimistic at first about the bug fixes((Hey, if they fix those, more users might be willing to play!!)), but then realize how empty their promises are... .__.; And how long we wait for Gaia to do something they said they would do. I.E.: It's going to be a LONG time before we see those fixes. They've had 4 years to do so, so it doesn't convince me they'll jump right on that and make it priority now.
I still think they'll stall as much as they can on the BB tickets. And in the end, it will not be a satisfying response, such as a Gaia cash refund to it... I don't see them going through the hassle of sending money back through user's paypals/credit cards/etc...

At the very least, I'd really like them to recycle the different events so as to keep us active even after we're done on the main quests. I love doing the Easter and Halloween events. And I really want them to make a site wide announcement. If it's not made by next ATA, I will be asking. And I will ask and ask, again and again until they do it. Because it's not fair to those users who don't frequent the forums to be unaware of zOMG's situation. And it should not be up to us to inform all our friends, although I am sending mass PMs w/ Starshine's link... My hopes haven't been lifted, and I still don't see myself as a valued customer. Thusly... I will still not spend money or do their cash offers. There's no point as soon as I'm done in zOMG, and I don't feel like "rewarding" their behaviors with revenue and profit.
I think they did a decent enough job of trying to answer questions - there seemed to be a lot more devs there than usual and I think it went on a lot longer time-wise than they normally do?

But what it really comes down to is their answer isn't going to change, and I guess that's all there is to it for me. I don't honestly care much about what they decide to do about the BB tickets because what good is a GaiaCash credit back or whatever if I'm not even sure if I want to stick around here?

Anyway, I was mostly signing on just to check in if there was any new news today, so I'm gonna bah humbug and sign off again to mope some more.

And how could they show to you that they do care?

The quoting was much appreciated, but i'm well aware of it.

Anyways the fact that they are putting zOMG in maintenance mode tells you that they do not care about zOMG. I can make a safe bet of 1 g that they decided to shift JK before DMS was even released. They expected traffic to grow when DMS opened, it did, but didnt meet expectation. DMS itself was mismanaged, the difficulty became a trivial thing which catered to the hardcore players and isolated the casual players who just couldn't contend with the hours of having to grind and then spending more hours on trying to beat the quest, especially with Bloodlust being such a power up draining boss that it becomes too expensive for the average zOMG player to afford.

At the moment they are communicating with us a bit more, but that was because of us, they didn't come to us to communicate, we had to go to them to get their attention. For them to show they care about us they have to start attending Dev meats, just how JK holds them out of his own time, they should find some time to meet with us users and not just send JK and swarf. It would be the best way to elevate tensions even if some frustration is around at first, things will cool down and the more they meet up with us, the more friendly we will get. HQ was in panic mode last week, they didnt expect the storm and I can tell they want this fiasco to be over with and hoping this doesn't drag on for longer, but they created this. The moment they start attending dev meets the moment they step in the right direction.

Steps like bug fixing; which they say will be worked on, and deciding even more on what to do with Alchemy and zOMG; even though we've been talking about it for months, will show they care, but I'm skeptical at the moment. The main way is to resume work on Boardwalk, but that is unlikely. I understand Gaia is in a period of great expansion in terms of Facebook and major Towns update, with resources being limited, but work on boardwalk has to resume and be completed within this year, its been paid for after all. I think they should start work on it after towns is released, that would be optimum. Maybe they could better things by releasing Gambino isle this year and also releasing the 3 hangouts Mavdoc left behind.

They also need to do cross promotion of zOMG on Facebook. In the recent AtA pan described how we, the community, is doing its best to save the game and will be stretched even more if they demand more money and is mindfully of it, so they want new users from outside, but not sure how to get them, Facebook will do it, it depends how they execute it.
