Ah I see, well it is quite simple actually. If you received the recipe from playing Zomg (you mostly will find it as a garlic dropping in Bills ranch) But I'll give it you if you like.
So basically go to your inventory
click on your garlic dress recipe
and then it will tell you all the necessary components needed to make it. Click on the exchange button and it will tell you whether or not you have everything, and just go from there.
