"You need to plan how to use it" How can you plan on saving stamina in a boss fight? You can't. You stop to think about it and you die.

I agree, More stamina.

Let's see. Strategy that is needed due to stamina cap:

- Only healing when absolutely needed (+diagnosing only when everyone is near you)
- Each person carrying one or two buffs as opposed to one person carrying all buffs
- Using rage on your attack rings
- Having a balance of high stamina cost attacks with low stamina attacks.

Why do you think stamina was put in place?

Ugh, if only Divinity worked, then maybe this wouldn't be such a problem.
But yeah, the stamina issue sucks. Whenever it is recovering under divinity's effect, you get plenty of stamina to heal yourself, but you have to just sit there and take any attack with no response whatsoever. It would be nice if there was something you could do without stamina to defend yourself, rather than having to act like you don't exist and hope the monsters go away in the middle of a fight.

You think about it before entering KKD's lair. Obviously, nuking is not a good idea in a boss fight. You may realize this during the first time you enter, but that means that next time you don't bring Fire Rain and Dervish and HWB.

I have to agree. Balance is set for having 100 STA. Any change in the max changes the balance of the entire game. Maybe if it's some kind of G'hi power that comes in very late, and gives you 12 more STA or something, or a ring buff that increases it by 20... But saying "It's static" is not a good reason for it to be fluid.
Didn't read posts.

The answers are still Qixter wants you to buy power up and/or crew.

Well I doubt it's worked well in a game that was centered around having a set stamina amount... but if I'm wrong I'm very sorry.

I think it is, actually. The amount of attacking to kill an enemy as you get into the higher levels will go up but your energy source won't. Thus you will reach a breaking point where everybody HAS to use Divinity and it also limits how strong rings can be since we will always have to scale them to 100 stamina.

But stamina cost doesn't change as the level increases, I don't see what you're trying to say here.

A CL 10 has just as much ability to fight as a CL 1 in regards to how long they can fight before having to stop.

Provided both players are engaged in encounters of equivalent levels, this is a wholly acceptable scenario to me. If the player was able to fight for longer and longer before resting as he progressed through the game, it would feel more like his overall power is increasing at a faster rate that of his opponents.

Increasing maximum stamina with player level means that the devs now have another variable to consider for game balance. Some updates have already experimented with changes to ring stamina costs, and with a constant stamina of 100, that means that all players are equally affected by such changes.

Question: Why do you think stamina exists in zOMG? What is the purpose of it?

Actually, that is flawed logic in your retort. I deal with pacing just fine. I simply want more to work with.

Answer: The same reason that mana/magicka/energy exists in basically/nearly EVERY fantasy/sci fi rpg ever made. It is what you base your abilities off of. It also increases in pretty much every game that comes to my mind that has a form of it.

Are you seriously going to continue to try this conversation from that patronizing stance? I understand the point and purpose of stamina. Hence I am able to give feedback and opinion on it. Care to actually debate or will I need to set you to ignore for trolling?
You bring up a valid the point, but more STM would only bring up more problems.

So the end result is just more ring spamming until the animated dies? :/

If you want the animated to scale appropriately with the increase of stamina, what's the point of changing the system? So it takes 10 clicks of slash to kill something instead of seven?
