It was added in maybe 2010. Before then it was just a link to the Art Arena page.

When they added it, everyone expected it to be the long-awaited PvP option. Apparently PvP turned out to be too hard, requiring a serious targeting code rewrite. (For example, Diagnose should no longer heal *everyone* around you, but only the people in your crew.)

Oh so that's why they changed it, I've been playing on and off and it kinda annoyed me when I realized the changes, but then I thought it was alright. But I didn't know about the coliseum.

I met him earlier. He said he bumped up the price money to 50mill. He just forgot to reflect it in his opening post.

I guess so? I can't remember the last time I played it. I'm not too hot about impossible when it's so horribly broken.

It gets too laggy with a crew of 6 and how full of enemies the screen gets even with adblocking everything. I've heard that it scales by cl and number of people in crew on screen so it's probably possible to game the system by having less than 8 rings on and adding some more or having less than a full crew in the area and having people pop in.

One of the last things the developers fixed in this game was a bug that allowed people to be cl 12 in a place intended for cl 10.
