I haven't been on zOMG in about 6 months, and I started playing last night. How things have changed.....

I remember when I could farm EB because shallow sea even after beating EB wouldn't respawn anything.

I remember Kat's Doll being impossible AND being one of the people who begged for a cl 10 to help us out xp

I remember helping out by using the "put on the ring" trick for a massacred crew in the Wolf's Den thing in Bassken.

I also remember crews in SS RR4 rocking EVERYONE or else they literally got castrated by the now weak Robofish. I remember fearing the second I had to click to enter Robofish Cave. Lol.

Oh and how duneslam was also just IMPOSSIBLE. But I soloed it by running around in circles with bandage and hunter's bow. sweatdrop

I REALLY miss Turtle's old effect and RR4 Rock was the "essential" ring for the entire crew to survive SS completely...

The one thing that molded the greatest players: The ability to choose 3 starter rings at the Train Station (Offense: Mantis, Hot Foot, Solar Rays. Healing: Bandage, Diagnosis, Wish. Defense: Rock Armor, Pot Lid, Teflon Spray).

I decided to choose Mantis, Bandage and finally: Pot Lid. Shows how much I wanted to solo zOMG at first since it was completely possible when zOMG was premature, but now crewing is being "highly encouraged" to an extent...

I liked it better when you couldn't choose any ring you wanted in the beginning... That way, some rings become more rare than others, and I think that gave the game a nicer touch.
If Gaia is planning on adding new rings, then I hope that they can make some of them rare on purpose. It woud be cool. 3nodding

(I don't really remember much else. Back in the beginnings of the game all I remember was Village Greens and fleeing from flamingos because they were all trying to kill me.)

I miss being able to server-hop because you didn't get that annoying message about waiting to be logged off one server so you could get on another.

I miss walking into DMP with a crew of cute little n00bs and owning everything for them...

I miss the days when there were half a million people standing around outside Papa Saw looking for crews, and we farmed that sucker into oblivion... (and also kept getting kicked out when we moved too near the door... xd )

I miss the days when the instances were close to impossible without a good crew. Now you can do it on easy with no trouble... even if you are just wearing adrenaline. *coughtMEcough* Kinda nice, but not nearly so cool or exciting.
