I'm one of those unfortunate people that had an account from before rings became soulbound,
I stupidly chucked my rings away because I didn't think I'd play it anymore.

I was dumb in thinking maybe there'd be some tradeable rings later on and made an alt. account
to farm a ring for this one but yeah that didn't work out. ;;

If you have more than two of a regular ring, you can opt to salvage one and use the orbs to power up your other rings. The second is a back up in case of accidental salvaging.
