...Unless they are completely uncooporative and don't listen to a firetrucking thing that you say. Take the crew I was just in:

A person I had crewed with in Kam runs was making a farming crew, and since i havent been in a crew in a while, i joined. She was nice, and let some newbies to dms join.

But one of them completely disregarded the instructions and directions we gave. They kneeled after we told them not to, they hardly ever rebuffed, and had no common sense. The only thing they did was stand to the side and spam Adrenaline neutral

The leader warned them multiple times to get their act together or they would be replaced. In one room they died because they knelt, and didnt redo their own buffs once their rings were unlocked emotion_facepalm

After the leader and a couple other crew members got on to them, me included, they ragequit after we entered the next room, and we almost got killed since we were suppressed to a little below 11.0 to get a better chance of loot dropping.

Discuss: Do you help newbies so long as they follow directions, or just not bother at all since you never seem to find any that are cooporative?

Yeah. I help alot of randoms, most of the time I've had crews completly randoms. It turned out quite well, actually.
You lower to them, you teach them things, they're usually pretty appreciative of it. Even the people who typ lyk dis, atleast they're nice.
It just gets boring with the same crew. I have some core members, but mixing it up with new people is always fun.
If they ask for help and I am not in a crew/busy I help them

Where are you when I would like to play?^^
I try to help when I can but I've had some horrible experiences with newbies that it really makes me question whether helping is worth all the headdesking I do in the meantime. lol

XD
I haven't been playing too much recently since college has started up again. x_x I feel so bad for my friendlist, asking me to dms and I can't since I'm so tired. crying But when I do, I crew like this. XD

Yes, I guess time is the biggest problem^^...I retired from zOMG, because of that (and being bored as there was nothing new to learn) and now that I'd like to get
back and finally try out DMS (I just finished studying and enjoy a free month before the
work life starts), I'm all of a sudden a "Cl 10.0 - 170k TC noob" and can't find a crew to play
with *lol
I mean I can understand that it's time consuming to explain everything and a newbie can
hold you back...went through all these stuff myself, but if you just take a little time to talk
to someone you can usually tell if he's willing to learn or not...but obviously it's easier
to kick people when you see they are only 10.0...

It's not that I don't have time for the newbies,I don't have time period. (I have 6 classes, I'm usually at class until 6pm on Monday, at school all day,BLEHHHHH. x_X)
I get where you're coming from, people don't crew 10.0s. I guess they're in the mindset of "11.4 is best for drops" and 10.0s don't know much. They want their orbs and fast, not wanting to teach people.I would love to take you on a run sometime, I just don't know when that would be.

Sucks! And makes even more happy that I'm done with it *lol
Ja, I'm just surprised how strong this mindset is...I know that people were complaining about that
with the smob/seb runs, too...but I can't remember that people were in general that strict about
newbies...

Sometimes, I don't mind helping- IF they're willing to listen and learn. That's not always the case. But its attitude, not CL that tends to get my goat. Someone doesnt have a few rings, I can work around that. But one thing I don't tolerate anymore (just had it happen too many times and I'm done with it) is whining and fighting and crying over buffs. I kick for that. Usually I will warn- once. If I'm crew leader, and someone is still acting like a derpy douche- or snapping and fighting with other crew members and just starting s**t for no reason-its kickin' time. I ain't shy about that.

On the flip side, I have crewed with some awesome lower CLs who wanted to learn. After runs, I usually invite them to friend me for future runs.

I don't mind newbies in the crews I am in, thankfully most of them are cooperative.

Those who aren't cooperative that get dazed in every room for not listening and waste everyone's time rebuffing him/her, that's when I either ditch the crew or hope he/she gets replaced.
I generally like to help random crews out, especially the ones that are for lower leveled people. I don't mind helping them out as long as they're willing to learn. But most of the time it goes well for the crew and we end up going at an efficient farming pace.

      I've helped newbies before.
But I have VERY LOW patience..
So if they really really want me to be leader, they cant bum around when they dont know squat. Or....or else....I'll explode. sweatdrop

i help level 10's out all the time, but yesterday i was in the bitchiest crew ever!, it was really bad... nuf said
Newbies are so cute ^^ most of them anyways. I don't mind playing aggro or helping out, although lately I don't have much playing time. And not all crew members want to have cl10s in crews.

I say if they have revives and needed rings at cl10, and can follow instructions, I'm happy to take them.
