fortune's favor gives you a 13 luck bonus and therefore more chance for better drops.
there is no gold cap that i know of :3

gold cap I believe is the maximum gold you can farm/day in zOMG.

"Cap", note the quotes, is the point at which your gold drops are reduced to a fifth the usual.
There's no limit.

It'll kick in if you gain more than 50k a day... unless you buy Gold Potions or gain donator status. Then it's 160k+ a day.

I would use the term 'nerf' as opposed to 'cap' since you can still earn 20% of the gold after hitting it. I would use 'cap' describing the 150k cap of Booty Grab.
Fortune's Favor boosts Dodge and Accuracy as well as Luck. It's good to have.
