Well in the game several enemies mention a void, like Kat's doll and Goosey, I am guessing this is basically where the animated go when they die or something? Now what I am thinking is what if there was a way to enter this void through the null chamber or something else. I would love to see things related to this void in the game.

I am just looking for opinions on the void. I personally feel it would be cool if you could do some sort of Boss Rush mode where you fight all the bosses in a row at a very hard difficulty only all of them would have some sort of darker coloration and/or a dark aura cloud thing around them.

What happened is on the way back down I got dazed and everyone else left and I hit awaken just as I started getting transported, the result? I'm in 3 places at once, the text (and everyone else can see me in) Bill's Ranch, I hear null chamber music, and My map is at DMP.

Gerty also says Im un-healable right now and also my shout chat isn't working while on that screen, well actually people can see it but I can't eek .

My idea is that the void is nothingness. It doesn't exist, just like the Animated shouldn't exist. It's not an area that the Animated "return" to, but are destroyed at. (Lifestream, anybody?)

KKD screams about it because you're about to destroy her and she apparently doesn't want to die.

So yeah, I think it's just Death, no special gimmicks.

But a Boss Rush mode would be pretty cool, and make sense. You fight the remains of the Animated that you've slain. It would also be cool if it got harder based on how many Animated total you've slain, and not just how many bosses.

:O Maybe it's a torture room for failing? But that would mean there's somebody stronger and more powerful than all of them. Or maybe they're just strong enough to survive and the Void is just a powerful current of G'hi that tears weaker animated apart.

Darnit, well then there has to be some way to make it work.
Maybe make a void to go into where the bosses attack? :O
Maybe like, a big black room that is void like, and has a small light at the end of it. (light at the end of the tunnel? -shot-)

Animateds have a councienceness, and apparentely, they got it out of thin air, out of nothing. Maybe the void they mention is nothing but that "nothingness" and if they are beaten, they'll cease to have one, hence returning to being nothing.
Void is just a cool way of calling death for them.

Don't think about it too hard, they are just saying void because its cooler than saying "I'M DYING, GODANGIT!!!"

But still, Goosey comes back out of the Void, I am thinking it is where their souls or whatever reside when not acting as an animated. I am thinking of it as they are possessing objects therefore animating them.

When they are defeated they simply are forced back into the void.

Wait, i just thought of something. There seems to be infinite loot, is there any explanation for this?

And as for the Boss Rush mode, do you think It'd be cooler fighting them all at once at normal difficulty or one at a time at a very hard difficulty?

I SEE THE LIGHT! So wait do you mean you'd go into this room and have to fight the bosses, one at a time, to be able to get out?

Imagine having Coatl LAZORRING you while Shewolf and KKD are munching and fanning you! (All with Duneslam lancing you up the place where the sun don't shine)
At that point is more like a gauntlet where you try to survive for a certain amount of time..

At that point is more like a gauntlet where you try to survive for a certain amount of time..


RR4 Rock Armor, wouldn't be too hard impossible. Im thinking it would have some sort of great crew scaling so it basically would only possible with a full rew and some good strategy.

Everyone attacks KKD first (ranged attacks are painful) once she is dead they move onto She Wolf (because it is a pain to have to constantly hunter's bow and gumshoe her with her fast speed stat), Papa Saw (since you could quickly kill him since he is so easy), or OMGWTF (since he is a quick kill too). Once all three of those were dead you'd only have to deal with coatl (who would be stuck in one spot so you'd make sure to always have the battle far away from him) and duneslam. You'd have to take down duneslam with the good old run around while avoiding getting into coatl's range.

The you would just have the coatl to deal with. Of course everyone would have to have defib and you'd have to make sure the aggro was spread out, you'd also probably want to have a healer in your crew.

Depending on how crew scaling and how hard the bosses were it could possibly be possible. ;D

It'd be fun D;

I'm thinking you'd want to make sure everyone had full ghi and make sure everyone brought pot lid, ghost, and meat.

You'd also want 2-3 rock armorers, 2 improb, 2 divinity, a coyote, and a my density.
