How do we kill General Mayhem?!

I just started playing zOMG and I'm at killing General Mayhem, but when i try to attack him, i don't do damage and it says like ''General Mayhem blocks your attack and shoves you away forcefully'' How the hell am I supposed to kill him?!

Please help me :S

What difficulty are you trying it on?

If I remember right, Easy and Normal modes are glitched, which won't let you kill the General.

Basically, what you do is:

Step 1: Kill all waves of basic Gnome spawns
Step 2: Kill all waves of advanced Gnome spawns
Step 3: If in Hard mode, kill the Mushroom Cannons inbetween killing basic and advanced Gnome spawns. If in other difficulty modes, disregard this step and move to Step 4
Step 4: Kill General Mayhem
Step 5: ??????
Step 6: PROFIT!

Actually, if I sat back and calculated, it'd be more like 16mil+ worth of items. But that's irrelevant.

I've been on this site since 2006. A lot of my items have came from ball busting and lots of gold saving.

I tried destroying the mushroom thingys on hard mode and i can't damage them either. It says like ''Your attacks bounce off their hardened tops'' or something

So they finally fixed Easy? Cause last time I tried, it was broken. I'll check in a few minutes to be sure.

I don't remember the time when easy was glitched.
I would challenge people to do normal.

I've seen many reports that Normal was glitched, and a few spotty reports that Hard was glitched in some circumstances but not others (I'm still vague about details). But I did Easy with someone this morning and it worked fine. And I don't recall anyone saying that Easy was glitched.
