Has the money we spend on powerups been going elsewhere?

I've heard that all the money we use on powerups, amulets, gems etc. goes other places than zOMG. If this is true, it's completely ridiculous. There are glitches in sMEB and in Bloodlust such as the switches not triggering correctly, having no queen at all, etc. and the distance glitch, the ghi glitch, empty HPR glitch and various other glitches that ruin many hours of work to reach Bloodlust. This is ridiculous and very very wrong if it is true. Money generated from zOMG should go back into zOMG. Plus there's the issues with the server lag messing things up, two servers isn't enough sometimes, especially if there is several bloodlust runs going on as well as a dev meet at the same time the servers have been up for a few days.

If the monies go into the facebook games, which the zOMG music has already been slapped onto, then I'm not sure what to do anymore.

Bring the old devs back or hire a new one, or just do something to make zOMG less laggy and more enjoyable

I second this. I've been under the impression that powerup money was going into zOMG! which is why I have made an effort to buy things so that they game will get updates and taken care of. and I second the whole hire new dev thing, zOMG! has so much potential and deserves care and love.

I believe how it works is the money you spend on powerups is pooled together with all the other money gaia brings in and they decide which departments to invest in. I think they keep track of how much money is brought in through powerups, how many users play zOMG, etc. though, to see how much money to put into zOMG. I agree that zOMG needs more attention but this is far from being news to anyone.

This but all the stuff that is bought with cash is pooled into all of gaia and they want to do things other than zOMG like monster galaxy though which i don't mind as much since it is a neat little app on my ipod now though when you gotta pay for stuff on it seems ridicules and now monster galaxy should pay for itself

Gaia cant let zOMG die, this is one of the best RPG's, heck it can probably even beat Blizzard if Gaia invest and keep the spirit up on this game

I dont mind waiting but it has been years since this game is launched and still in beta. How can a 2-3 year old be still in beta in Chapter 1, while other games are working on their 3rd instalment already.

They can't just say that "its free" but at some degree, some people pay more than $60 in a year to play this game. Can't believe this, dont waste money making more games but improve the ones that you have Gaia.

I love fishing (has major bugs), zOMG (still in beta), i dont even know how to play other games, especially the ones in facebook.

Gaia must find a way to give zOMG its own money and spend it as they pleased. But still act as a mentor in maintaining quality that gaia people wants.

Honestly a good thread topic though...hard to find things like these. Must look into this... I wanna know what money goes where and why they don't develop the areas money is being generated from...
Especially since, honestly, zOMG is the best thing Gaia has to offer.

But I'd like the option to choose where the money I spend goes. =/ The only reason I spend money in cash shop for non-zOMG stuff is because I want a spiffy avvy when I play. Otherwise... I'd just reuse the same old s**t I always had and not spend a dime.
