thank you! yes,i do think that the end section of the game should be hard,but not so hard that you always have to have a 6 person crew using the same f'ing rings!the old ss was always hard too.i soloed it,but there was always the threat that some clams would gang up and kill you.it was never a cakewalk,it was just a challenge that you could do yourself. is that enough reason to make it overkill for a soloer?

My crew had a medic.
The old SS was NOT hard.

It was always a cakewalk, and SS was never meant to solo, and I CAN'T stress this enough!
Now that someone/some people had actually solo'd both Shallow Seas AND Endboss, it was obvious that Qix was going to step in and stop it.

Maybe the confusion about soloing SS is simply an acronym problem... People didn't know what SS stands for, so they put words in themselves and come up with: Solo Seas.

Never mind that Shallow Seas is actually just the first area of the Underwater Series, oh no...

That's why there's so many animated now because many people including myself have soloed ss-compound i wasn't lucky enough to solo eb but people have though the endboss wasn't meant to be soloed

I really dont like the new SS. I used to do it with my friends/clanmates, and now even with a full crew on easy we cant do it because we get killed by the lag and all the respawns. I cant believe people actually call this "fun" and "challenging". It's so hard! I do not see how it is fun at all. :/

The fact it's hard is what makes it fun. I agree, some parts are annoying (if you're putting that many Sea Spouts there Qix, adjust the framerate of the animation like you did for the rings in the last update. That way the lag isn't as bad from an army of sea spouts attacking us. Or put in an option so it only shows the animation if we're being attacked (AoE attacks excepted of course)

I think they changed it because they're about to raise the level cap and add some new areas for those with a higher cl than 10.
