When they add new ares though will we need to have finished this part of the game? If not I'd be happy to skip it but if we HAVE to defeat the end boss to get into Isle de Gambino or Durem I'll be seriously pissed.

Honestly, I just ran in there on easy, beat a clam, put turtle on and bolted to see how far I could make it. I made half way up the seahorse, and that's the most fun I've had in ages. XD

Although, if that's the level of lag... I'll not be beating X anytime soon. I already lag die mid battle and have to restart my browser, but HEY. I'm willing to work with the edits and retrain myself for SS.

SS = Fun, but damn, it's now too laggy for me to even go down there. XD

I like the new SS,it has a challenge.The only thing I hate about it is that it lags even more then ever!Oh yeah,I defeated the EB a week before the update and another time a few hours before the update.I think this is a challenge.Virus is really right,you have to be worthy and strong enough to get that badge.I got the robofish survivor badge by being an expert at the caverns and being an expert at the strategies.I tried up to grunny sub,and I like it,but the only thing I hate about it is that it REALLY,REALLY lags.

They've given the entire place a rework, and it makes buffs and such a priority. Now, SS is definitely for the best of the best, and it gives the Victory badge actual meaning. Yes, I agree, it's hard. But it's supposed to be hard. You're not CL 10.0 for no reason, and it's time to show that you deserve to be one.

Point to bear in mind though, Chapter 2 will be harder again. Exponentially, if I remember correctly.

I think come Chapter 4, some of us will be wishing we hadn't cried for Chapter 1 to be a challenge. xd

Okay, having just come through the mobs of Sea Spouts, I agree that the lag is unbearable now. I can still somewhat see what I am doing but it is hard to get an attack off now. I do apologize to everyone I gave a hard time to who was complaining about the lag.

As for SS itself, I don't mind it, it's certainly become more challenging, which is a good thing IMO. Gives something to do while we all wait for Chapter 2 to come out.

and when they (devs) gave the monster "lag" a name/ function " Stun" and we knew it (stun=programmed lag)and flagged {it} as an EB (cause it in fact does last long enough to end the connection)

I havnt checked out SS yet but imo you are jumping to conclusions too soon its not even a day since the updates occurred give it a chance and try again.
Do you think the same tactics you used in the old ss would work on new ss?

I think i'll just sit on the "It's great that Qixter and the gang worked with the small amount of users with terrific lag free computers that knew what they were doing and all use the same ring sets, but it would be great if they worked with the large amounts of casual users with less than perfect computers that like using more than just 8 or 10 specific rings to beat the end of chapter boss, that'd be all good" side of this discussion.

Yes, yes...... I agree that is shouldn't be a cakewalk in general, but it feels counterproductive when some people struggled to even attempt beating the endboss due to lag and wanting to use different rings to make it UTTERLY FREAKING IMPOSSIBLE for those people.

I am an expert at SS i did EB bout 47 times XD!! just the laggs r bad, the enemies r way to strong they have to much hp, n u can nvr rest in one area to take a breather, i got da badges that i can possibly get, and well i just cant farm alone anymore Dx this update really sucks, they moved the chests around as well an filled them with enemies, like wtf, dis aint runescape,

ummm? In english, please? And hey, we don't pay 5 bucks a month for this like ruinedscapegoat.

Is your title troll bait? Or what do you mean by saysing "ruined"?
Do you mean that the devs spend lots of hours and days working on the SS update and made it a tiny bit harder, which was not to your likings and that's why the game is "ruined" now`?
The game is made not only for you, so please change at least the title -.-
And a lot of people like the chages according to the poll.

I dont like but i also dont hate it.50/50.Why?For many reasons:

-MAJOR LAG

-NO MORE ROBOFISH RESPAWNs.DREAMS DO COME TRUE

-Way to many monsters

-The maze is all screwed up

-I like that there are more chest

-ALL HAIL THE EYEThat was a good twist.Great job on the fluff whorshippers

Basically there needs improvment on were to put the monsters and how they act bc the new patrol thing there doing is pissing off alot of gaians.
