The real question is: Are the forum and zOMG events going to be related?

They weren't last time were they? I don't think the game events and the forum events are ever related.

There's usually trick or treating or caroling in towns.
Which is only related in that it's a general holiday thing.

But zOMG has a lot of plot to it, so it'd be nice to see a connection between the site's main plot and zOMG's.

Yeah. But there's a difference between the normal Gaia and zOMG gaia, so the normal story doesn't always fit in. I mean, Gaia hasn't really made many changes to the site to fit in with zOMG.

I think it'll be like last year, zOMG will run it's own story and Gaia will run it's story.

Apparently there is some connection between those, actually. So I would say that doesn't connect totally but yes for the big picture. Like April Fools.

You either got a trick or a treat.
Treats were orbs, gold, and stuff.
Tricks were warps to random location around the world, killing pumpkin fluffs, etc etc.

You could get the Oh My Gumball from killing pumpkin fluffs.
And badges.
