You had a vision, it's now come to be at a point where you no longer need to guide it by the hand. I think of it as though zOMG! is going off to stand on it's own two feet, like it was heading out to college. And Qix is the parent, who gets to see what his child will become and know that he played an important part in that destiny.

While we may not have always agreed with some of your choices, Qix, it doesn't make you any less of a fantastic developer/producer. There are many things you've done for this game that have made a lot of people quite happy, and we couldn't possibly thank you any more than we already have. Although, I will once again say thank you for bringing my dear Airshark to life inside the game wink

Whatever you move on to, I'm sure it will carry the same spirit and heart that you put in to zOMG! for us Gaians. I know you leave the project in the hands of people who are capable enough to keep it afloat and to the level you've set. We'll miss you when you finally do take that final step through the office doors. Fair thee well, all the best to your future, and Godspeed.

Likely swarf, halzy and br0n, they'd be the most logical choices. I'd be shocked if it were anyone else.

And to everyone worrying and fretting.. just because Qixter is leaving doesn't mean the game is ending. Chapter 2 and beyond are still in the works from people who've been working with Qix this whole time, people who know the game and know its players. All the wishes and dreams we have for new things will still come to fruition through these people.
