Gaian weapons in the MMO.

So, you may all know already that rings are used to fight.
So, we already know that weapons can be equipped to an avatar.
Did you know you can use both rings for fighting, and weps to represent what your attacking with?
I feel as if a lot of people think they can't wear their weapons when in battle.

Update:
Gaia Rings are going to represent attacks, with attack animations, it may not be your Katana, but a swipe of a sword that is close enough.
Thrown objects I would suspect will be shirken like daggers, that can double as arrows.

The "Mantis Ring" will be debuted/revealed at Otakon this weekend. It's very "weapon-based" in effect, so be sure to try to catch footage grabbed at the show to see what we mean by that.

(We'll release that same info at the end of the month, along with a much larger package of new info about the game at the same time. So if you miss the Otakon stuff, don't despair.)

There are a WIDE variety of rings and ring effects in the game...this is just the first that we're showing you.

I would assume attack animations would come with the rings, I.E. slash type, bludgeon type, pierce type, ect...

I'm pretty sure we are going to have some sort of physical attack. It wouldn't make much sense if you can use the rings' skills without a limit.
