Grunny think those cliques who turn up with ring glitch, who only want to crew with people who also abuse glitch, were elitist. They believe implicitly in own superiority and snub everyone else. They all over Gaia, and most of them abject newbies who follow other newbies and fail often at simplest things.

TCL players, who only crew people of high TCL on wrong assumption of more experience, also type of elitist. Bigger number, more 'superior', they think.

Person who play more, know more about area and offer knowledge to group to ensure success not elitist, unless they stick only with own group and pooh-pooh everyone else as if they inferior. Grunny think what you got here is not elite-haters, but type of anti-intellectualism. People not able to stand concept of other people who know more than them about favourite subject, so they accuse of being 'elite' or 'superior' or 'talking down', when advice offered in good faith.

Best course of action is say 'Sorry you feel that way. I stay out here and let you get on with things. Give call if need help.' After their crew suffer wipe after wipe without guidence, they either forced to admit own idiocy, or give up and go away baaawing.


Frankly, if Grunny friends accused Grunny of elitism when only offer advice, Grunny not really care which option they do. Might even join other crew while friends find out what repeated failure feel like.

In that case, Grunny missed DMS Elitist issue. Last issue Grunny was aware of was when Glitch rings about, and people forming cliques and calling selves superior because they die in Shallow Sea for over fifteen minutes until they get rings they not deserve. Frankly, Grunny temporarily retired at that point, because of amount of stupid being poured all over game by Gaians with sense of entitlement who crow over glitched rings.

Was pleasantly surprised when he come back, check inventory and find new ring.

Rather than say what stupid things Grunny missed (Grunny is sure he'll want to chew something if he find out, and not sure if cage is good chewing material for tiny Grunny rage), Grunny suggest that no mention made of it.

I don't think players should be defined by a name. Every one is an equal player. Someone shouldn't be crewed or kicked from a crew just because of some title they do or don't have. zOMG is a game to be enjoyed and played with friends and strangers alike.

In that case, Grunny suggest that topic less to discuss issue, and more to blow off steam. Grunny is sure that if the original poster not bring up issue and discuss it with guilty parties, then others done same until blue in face. More sure if, as you suggest, this long-standing issue from between when Grunny take temporary leave of absence and finally return.

If talking in-game not work, and ignorance still around, it not really help matters to rant at it until it goes away. Better to maybe wash hands of issue by, for example, making topic about it in forum.


Grunny also like way you used quotes. In some cases, is like literary pair of tongs around distasteful word. Is quite perplexed about possible meaning of Kelly using them there.

I have heard a lot of bad things about quite a few people, some friends and even Omni.
I felt a little uncomfortable crewing with Omni at first, but I was glad I took the chance to actually crew with him myself.
Since then I have been crewing with Omni a bit more. I actually enjoy having him in my crews and I enjoy joining crews he is in.
He is only trying to help people. He doesn't have to join crews, give them tips and spend his own gold on power ups just to help others.

I think it's silly that some people accuse others of hijacking a crew because they are trying to give them tips or if they suggest to invite a few people/friends if someone leaves.

Wouldn't you want someone with experience to join and help you out or would you rather not know what the hell you are doing and waste 12 hours of everyone's time trying to clear a few green rooms? I would obviously want the help and try to get through the run quicker and learn a few things to make sure my future runs would run smoother.

I would also want to get that spot filled up in my crew as quickly as I could.
I don't care who it is, as long as the person is willing to cooperate and follow directions.


You just have to crew with people and find out yourself, because out of all the s**t I have heard.. it actually turned out to be the complete opposite.
Those who told me certain people were crew jackers have NEVER taken over my crews and were actually very helpful. Omni, Porno, Arch, Skully, Blue, luze.. and a few others I have had the best experiences in crews. I am very glad to have met these people and befriend them.

Those who have crew jacked me, used to be friends with me.. I never thought these people would actually do that to me.
Just be careful, and if you are that worried about being crew jacked then I suggest to not pass the crown to anyone.




feeling lazy? here's a shorter version:
If you hear things about another person, I suggest you take the time to get to know them or at least crew with them first before you believe every word you hear or before you judge them.
It's the persons choice whether they take this advice or not, it's their problem if they want to believe anything they hear.
