The chances of Gaia changing its mind are extremely low.

And even if they changed their mind right now they couldn't do a thing about it 'cause no one still at Gaia knows how to work with the game and I'm pretty sure that knowledge is needed to restart that thing :U

yes. anyone can get in now, it was opened to the public over a year ago, but it is still preferable to be a solid 10.0 (meaning having all your rings/buffs/passives at a cl 10.0)
the time to sell bloodstones back to gaia has passed (i could be wrong) yet there may still be a few zOMGers who would love to get their hands on a collectible such as the bloodstone. if it was an amulet, you would still be able to equip it, so selling it would be desirable if you don't want it in your inventory as a "collectible" or to equip on your avatar.
if you decide to keep it, it would only be for nostalgia's sake because zOMG was put in a permanent maintenance mode last year. as far as zOMG is concerned, all the developers have left. emo
