Different monsters = different attacks?

Okay, first off: This isn't about how "all the 'monsters' look copmletely retarded"; I'm not even going to judge how they look.
This is a suggestion on how the monsters will attack.
Say the fluff just tries to nibble at your toes (oh, horrors!); doing minimal damage, or maybie trying to... er, jump on you to death?
Or the OMG. They say it's "A nasty piece of work". So, why not make it a nasty piece of work by having it leap at you, or maybie lash out at you with its tail, or maybie bite you (and I mean real biting, folks, the "tear your legs off" kind of biting).
Or the garlic; it's... er, regurgitations having a range of distances.
And maybie the clutch can come swooping down at you; and flying up well out of your reach, and you can only kill it when it's trying to attack you.
Lots of possibilities.
