Clans?

Um... I've noticed "Clan" on charcter info's of people's info I've looked at, and.... What exactly IS a Clan? How do you get a Clan, and what do you do with it? I feel noobish asking, but I'm curious, and Game Help doesn't say anything about it. sweatdrop

A clan is like a guild.
You can go to your clans forum and post.
Arrange meet ups in game etc

There are many clans to pick from.

Clans aren't quite dead. I'm in one that's very active.

But I agree that clans never worked very well. Only part of that is due to the buggy clan chat. A bigger problem is that there's no special dot on the map marking clan members, and no quests that encourage clan membership, so therefore there's no easy way to build clan camaraderie.
