I don't know. I was reading all the OMG ZOMG IS DIEING threads and it. It just got me all worked up, y'know? ;O; ALL THOSE POTENTIAL VICTIMS. And the idea of a charity just kind of popped into my head.

JUST SPITBALLING HERE, BARE WITH ME.

The Charity would be run by zOMG! NPC mules(i.e. Logan, Katsumi, etc)

Have Charity based runs(for whatever, ss, eb, dms)

Train the n00bs so we don't just have mindless drones joining the ranks

Have a reward system for in-game quest completion(so people aren't just getting to 10.0 via ps farming

Have a charity PLOT. I don't know, I'm not good with the thinking

What do you think? Is this a good idea? Know anyone that would be interested in helping running it? Anything to add?

I would be interested! I have limited time, though, so it would probably be best if I did background stuff, like formulating a plot/characters for the charity, but I would definitely help out when I have time!

the one statement I put into question is "train noobs so we don't end up with mindless drones"
noobs usually are the ones who are all talk and horrible action
mindless drones are usually the ones who listen and succeed
there are few decent players who also talk but.. since I prefer the successful drones since I mainly like zomg for gold lol

I know y'all told me specifically what you wanted to do but, would you like to mod as well(even if it's just dropping by occasionally)?

I think you're confusing n00b and newb.
n00b: An inexperienced and/or ignorant or unskilled person. Especially used in computer games.
Newb: Someone who is new to the game.
Also, I'm not sure if you understand the meaning of mindless drone.
Mindless: (Adjective)
(of a person) Acting without concern for the consequences.
(esp. of harmful or evil behavior) Done for no particular reason.
Drone: A person who lives on the labor of others; parasitic loafer.
Now does that sound like someone who listens and succeeds?

I think it's a 'time charity' sort of thing, instead of money the charity donates 'time'.
