You can only equip and unequip rings within the Null Chamber. Otherwise, they're stuck to your fingers like glue! (:

You can only take rings off in the Null Chamber. However, when outside the Null Chamber, you can still add rings, and move them between fingers (which seems a bit odd that you can shift what fingers they're on, but no take them off).

While you're in the Null Chamber, you can also upgrade rings with orbs, and salvage rings you don't need for even more orbs to use. Keep in mind that once you salvage a ring, you'll never see it again. Unless you're lucky enough to get a new one as a drop. >o>
