I'm on the same sever as him, and both of us can't see each other, when even on the PDA, it shows us on top of each other.
Help would be ABSOLUTELY marvelous.

Not a glitch. Each area has multiple "instances" or "layers" of itself which people are sorted into based on how full each instance is. This is done to prevent overcrowding. You can warp someone to your instance by inviting them to a crew.
