Pets would be the same as weapons in that they are items. If they aren't letting our swords have an effect I doubt Gwee can.

Well at some level we can rule out graphical effects. They'd be purely cosmetic though.

I wish, I have been sayin they should have catching monsters and using them as allies in battle so that would fit in there but I doubt either will happen.

The Only Item You Can Use as a Wepon are Batlle rings. No MCs Will Have any effect.
