Beginner healing ring unuseable

After doing the first kill quest for Dani in the subway station at the beginning of zOMG! she asks you to choose one of three healing rings. I chose the middle one, second choice, that is supposed to aoe heal. It automatically was put into the 2nd slot on my hotbar and it does not work. Using my 2 key, or left clicking the icon that is in the 2nd slot, does nothing. The icon looks like a red question mark on a blue background.

I use windows xp 32 bit and Firefox 3.0.3

Quit zOMG! and restart.
It should work then.

I was not able to use it, but then i was able to use it after a few fights. I heal by sitting down. Do not do it near enemies though, lol.

I had this problem with my CL4 Diagnose (the AoE heal) when I logged in this evening. The game still recognized it as a Diagnose ring, though I couldn't actually use it, because it didn't break my Medic set. Logging out and ain again had it appearing normally. Maybe it's just a Diagnose thing.

if it's bandage you have to aim it as someone first,either you or another player
