Mhm, prehaps because not everyone feels the need to babble and show off about it in the forums.

Zoaic
I didn't even have to noobily bandage you c;

zoaic had heals = bubu

Not really, I used as many SC's as usual. o:
She had bandage for her level, to keep her 11.9
She didn't use it on me at all, she was a DPS.

I'm sorry you picked up vibes that I was "showing off". I was merely proving that it's not necessary to those who insisted that it is. It's a point. A strategy. Making a new strategy is not showing off.

Oh ok next time I will just consult my crystal ball and see what people are suddenly going to go do with no warning or when they are going to DC. Or I will just become elitist and say oh no you can't go because I don't know you and I don't know what you may or may not do. Come on Dande it doesn't work that way. We were all new at this once and someone gave us a chance.

It's great that you can do it with no bubu and you are comfortable with that. If that's right for you, you go for it. But bringing a bubu isn't wrong either.

This is the problem I notice with threads in here about things people have tried. Instead of saying hey I tried this thing and it worked great....you should consider trying it too...they tend to present it as if their way is right and everyone else is wrong. That's not true. The truth is, it's right for the person making the post. But that doesn't mean that what everyone else does is wrong and they shouldn't do it.

I would rather have the safety net of that extra person with wish than have to buy a ton of SC's in case something goes wrong that could have easily been avoided by having one more person with wish. They cost money and I have frivolous stuff to spend my money on like a mortgage and groceries. So I would rather not buy any more than I have to.

I would also rather do it a way I am comfortable with in order to expedite it and take care of the rest of my crew in doing so. That way they don't have to use extra SC's, revives or amps either. It's about working as a team, not about me stroking my ego and sayin heh I could do this without your help! Getting to BL is a long journey and people are tired by the time they get there if they have gone for the entire run, so I as tank, want to finish it up as easily and quickly as I can for everyone concerned.

No,no. I was merely saying it's not NECESSARY. I'm encouraging you all to try it out, saying those extra heals aren't necessary.
I don't know about anyone else but I used as many SC's as I would've done with a bubu. I counted. I don't think using a bubu is wrong, or anything. emotion_yatta

I usually run bl with someone doing the role of bubu, without a bu.

I'd like to see this tanking bl without an amped healer

Back to the point - just because you pull it to the forums doesn't mean it's a 'new' strategy. I know few crews that use to go without BUBU for some time now, and yet, none of them felt the need to do this.

Funnily enough, I didn't see you write 'to give the facts/inform.'

As I said, not everyone feels the need to babble about things on forums. And I'm really sorry, but your crew really wasn't the first one doing it this style.

One more thing - I was BU few times and I never once amped. Another old school thingie there.

I think that should be left up to who is tanking.
I, personally, prefer to have a bubu just in case bu needs to afk or in the worst case, crashes.

I really prefer that safety net. I've had instances where we have finished before or just as the tank's amp has run out, with a bubu.

If they never shared it to the public then it will remain unknown to most. I was posting this for those who want a new strategy and haven't heard of it before, I don't need to write it in a specific way to get my point across.
I don't think I was the first, but I haven't seen any similar threads before (correct me if I'm wrong.) My title was "A bubu isn't necessary". That doesn't mean you HAVE to have no bubu. I tried a method that was new to me, I liked it, and I believe I proved it wrong to those who still believe that a bubu in BL is absolutely necessary when it isn't. I gave out my facts; the time it took, the ringsets, etc.
Sharing a new method of doing something is not babbling, it's contributing to the discussion.

I like taking risks. cat_whee
And yeah that really depends on your DPSers, if they're not all 12, it will be a tad bit slower than usual.

Wait what? People have BU amp for BL? Is this common? I had no idea...I never have mine amp. Nor do I amp when I BU.

I personally leave amping up to my BU. If they feel they cannot keep up with healing me and my health is below like 1500 too often, they normally amp.

Okay, My last post to this discussion, since I have better things to do with my time than talk to you, for example sleep. I'm going to work tomorrow and all that.

I don't like the way you came into the z!f all 'BOOM OMG WATCH ME NEW STRATEGY JSDKLFJSLDKJ" style. It's not new, and I'm pretty sure it was the first people that came up with this that proved people wrong.

Not sure anyone dared you to do it, called you up on it taht it's unable and you proved them wrong. If there weren't people disagreeing with you, then you weren't proving anyone wrong. That's kinda how it works.

Of course if you had that discussion outside of the forum, I'd say it should stay that way. Not because I wouldn't want people to share something like this, god knows I would, only I would really love to see the credit go to people who deserve it really. Like the first crews trying that out.

It's like making a guide on something you didn't come up with, really.

Okay, off to sleep now.

Have fun!
