3D or 2D?

What do you think 3D or 2D background?

I'm just not feeling it for the 3D background, I would like it better as 2D more beautiful that way =3

But making 2d art is literally MAKING ART.
They'd have to have an artist draw every single last sprite/graphic.
Then, they'd have to give it a false "3D"... umm.... "body/mesh"(??) so that your character would "interact" with it correctly.
Since a sprite has no depth, they'd have to actually code in, for every unique art, a hit detection box, basically.
That could take... a very long time.
That's why so many MMOs actually have Pseudo-3D with Sprite Avatars, but 3D environments...
