zOMG Blue/Friends Dots not working?

I'm having problems with zOMG lately, I can't see any blue dots on the map whereas i can see the crew dots or red dots? Help?

Operating System: Windows 7
Internet/Web Browser: Firefox, ( Tried on IE doesn't work there too)
Flash version: WIN 10,2,161,22

I can think of two things to check first:

1- Make sure you have a friend on the same server and in the same area.
2- Make sure Friend dots are turned on. (There's a button for it on the PDA, right above the map)

Beyond that, I'm not sure what the issue might be.

Yes, there were friends in the same server.
I have not turned that blue dots off.

Well, friend dots do not update as quickly as red dots; they update so slowly that you may have to wait... up to about a minute (?) to see it update showing where your friend is~

So that said, see what happens if you do find a friend and just sit still for a moment~

...And while I think this question is completely irrelevant, you're only looking at the minimap, right?~ (I know, stupid question... but never hurts to ask~)

No, I've stayed for quite long with Friends that i could'nt see as blue dots.

For me, This ques. is not irrelevant, bcauz it always seems that i Ignore them.

And not in the same crew as them?~

Just to make sure, you do have the friend dot look like what's in the red box, and not what the green box looks like, correct?~

Yes, I have the friend box!
If my friends are in my crew then i can see red dots popping for them but when were not in a crew I can't see any dots for them but before this problem i could see blue dots for them.

Doesn't really answer my question; but either way, I'll assume the text looks like the red box~

Anyway, have you tried clearing caches (including "flash cache"?)~

And in case you don't know what those are...

Browser cache: Close the game window and do this:

Internet Explorer: Tools > Delete Browsing History > Temporary Internet Files

Firefox: Tools > Clear Private Data/Recent History > Cache

Opera: Top left button for drop down menu > Settings > Delete Private Data > Cache

Chrome: Wrench icon (top right) > Options > Under the hood > Clear browsing data > Cache (everything)

Flash cache: Click the link in solution 1 of this thread. And do it~

Well, I know it's a pain to make, but care to show a screenshot?~ I'm curious about this~

I'd particularly like to see a person on your friends list, and that person standing on the same screen as you in zOMG... but not crewed~

Of course, also have the minimap open too...

If you don't feel like taking the time to do that though, I understand and it's fine~ ^-^;

Hmm... so you have tried clearing caches...

Well, to narrow down the possibility(s) of what it might be:

1) If possible try playing zOMG on a different computer; see if the results are similar~ If the results are, it has something to do with your computer~...

2) Try making/using a second gaia account (on your usual computer) and have your friends be in Village Greens on the same server~ If the blue dot does work now, then it's an account problem... otherwise, it may be your computer~

3) Based on the other 2's answer (well, regardless of them to an extent), try uninstalling your current version of flash (go to this page and follow the instructions~). Then, re-download flash and try again~ Just something else to try out~

Of course, try these when the game actually works~
