Charging Orbs not there

For the first mission you do it gives you the orbs to upgrade your ring.. but they dont appear in my inventory, saying 0. so I cant continue

this is a known glitch, the orb counter reading 0 even if you have orbs. it usually will go away if you leave the game and come back after a few minutes, but it should allow you to upgrade rings even if the counter says 0.

Also, you can check your actual orb count in the inventory, under the loot tab.
