The 42 million glitch is fixed!
Post if you're still having issues with your orb counter changing to 0!


The Charge Orb (purple) and Shadow Orb (darker purple) counters are glitched right now. It's a visual glitch.

Sometimes if you refresh the screen, load a screen, gain an orb, upgrade or salvage a ring, you get reset to either the amount of orbs you had when you loaded zOMG, or 42949672 orbs.

Basically any time that the orb counter loads or is updated, it's possible to get this glitch.

Regarding the "42 million" glitch, they all can't be used, but you can use any orbs that you couldn't see but already had.

A continuing display problem is earning orbs but having the counter read 0 or 999999999. screenshot


If you want to check to see how many orbs you actually have, try the "loot" tab in your ring bag.

Workaround: If you close your window, wait 10 minutes, and reload, your orbs will be fixed. You have to wait long enough as if you were switching servers, but you don't have to actually switch.

Post what you did right before your orb counter got confused to help fix it.

i have a problem, when i move around ( useing the arrow keys ) i can't! and when i tried to attack I CAN'T WHY IS THAT?!! the only way i can attack is clicking on a ring and i am fine for another 5 or 10 min and does it again sad PLEASE HELP

Try switching servers next time to make sure you're waiting long enough.

I got the 42 million glitch last night while I was in a crew, we were doing smob. I did actually get a lot of orbs (I could see the monsters dropping them) but when I went to upgrade my rings it said I didn't have any, even though I knew I had quite a lot if not 42 million. Now my orb counter is at 0 and won't go up even if I actually do get orbs. I'm not in a crew at the moment.
