Banjo and Kazooie will not be remade for the 3DS, or probably not any future Nintendo system.
Rareware, the company that made the game, was bought out by Bill Gates so its now only in use for Microsoft videogame products, which in my opinion is sad. Since I liked a lot of their games since they had a hand in Donkey Kong and Starfox as well as Banjo and Kazooie.

I'm looking forward to new games they will come out for the 3DS: Kid Icarus: Uprising, Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, and Fire Emblem: Awakening. And some others.
