Yeah, that was lame too, but this is lamer.

Gaia events used to be fun. Hell, that mini Avengers vs. Star Wars event last year was more fun.

Having no teams and being able to hit anyone is a LOT better than having to fight against your teammates to score points, AND realizing that joining the team you wanted to win stacks the deck against them.
