Aah I always loved the LotR movies/books- but suprisingly found no character in particular that amazed me to the point of fangirling....which is weird bc I was fangirling over everything and everyone back then.

But dear god....the Hobbit....this movie got me >_>;

haha! I'm glad you enjoyed the books too; so many people are obsessed and don't follow anything but the movies :/

I fangirl hard too! It's so easy, but I didn't fangirl over anyone either... I haven't seen the Hobbit yet... perhaps it's time!

And I tend to do innocent(er)/white and fire/red avis, so this one was different! ...right in time for the holidays. crying

The newest movie is pretty awesome. I've always been an elf fangirl so I fangirled over the elves, especially Legolas.

... though what got me about the movie is that song I See Fire in the credits. I can't stop listening to it! 0_o It's so addictive.

Yeah- getting through the books was hard but rewarding!

I tend to read the books after I have seen the movies...that was the case with LotR.
The Hobbit I have read yeaaars ago though- and what can I say: I love both book and movie :3

I think it works very well in the credits of this movie. The movie ends with Smaug flying out to the town, and then the song about fire and burning... it forshadows the next movie. I guess it doesn't really apply as much to this movie, and the credit song often relates to the movie in which it's a part of, not forshadow the next one in the series.
