User Image Don't steal my OCs or the reference pictures
I worked very hard to design them, having redone them three or more times so please don't claim them as your own.

User Image Don't link me to shops.
I made this shop for a reason: I don't like having to wait for shops to reopen their slots.

User Image If you're offering something R-18, it might be best if you just send a PM
You'll just get into trouble if you post it here.

User Image You may write about anything!
You can even think of a new story for them! Just make sure they're in character.

master (Zennosuke) / servant (Kotori)

Quote:
The two were originally enemies, each serving lords that were equally hungry for land and power. After their encounter on the battlefield, Zennosuke became interested in Kotori who was able to fight almost on par with him. Kotori's general eventually betrays her and orders her execution. Before she is killed, Zennosuke saves her and takes her under his wing. He allows her to work as a normal servant in the morning; cleaning, doing the laundry and other chores. At night, however, she works as a spy, something Zennosuke only does if it is extremely necessary as concealing her identity as the enemy's former spy is of utmost importance. The two are eventually attracted to each other and become lovers although due to Kotori's timid nature, Zennosuke's advances usually end up with Kotori panicking and getting flustered.

1. How do they act towards each other?
Quote:
Since the two met at the battlefield, they never really got to know each other until Zennosuke took Kotori in. After knowing Zenno's personality, Kotori feared him a bit due to his icy glares, scowls and harsh remarks but slowly started to warm up to him as she got to know him better. As for Zenno, he treated her coldy at first and really just intended for her to be a spy/servant. But after a while, he started feeling jealous and possessive after finding out that the other soldiers have taken interest in her after catching a glimpse of her in the backyard of his house. After he realized his feelings for her, he gradually tried to get to know her more and eventually fell in love with her.

2. How do they address each other?
Quote:
Kotori addresses Zenno as "Zennosuke-sama" even until they become lovers.
Zenno simply calls her "Kotori"

3. Where is the story set?
Quote:
The story is set in Ancient Japan, similar to the Sengoku Era except with only two sides at war. Battles between the two sides usually occur in open fields, away from towns and villages. Although the towns are generally peaceful, both sides have attempted at taking over each others' towns in the past. At present though, they are more interested in taking over the whole land itself which not only includes the towns and villages but the farms, fields, mines and more.

4. What do they wear when they are not in their armor?
Quote:
Zennosuke wears a black yukata while Kotori wears typical pastel colored kimono.

5. What type of chores does Kotori do?
Quote:
She does common household chores such as: doing the laundry, cleaning the house, mending Zenno's clothes, going to the market and the like. Although she is supposedly in charge of cooking as well, she is a terrible cook but that doesn't stop her from practicing anyway. Zenno, who is surprisingly a good cook, prepares their meals whenever he's free. Kotori is, however, skilled at creating hand grenades, poison, and healing balms; things that require preparation similar to cooking.

6. If Kotori does the household chores, what does Zenno do when he's not in the battlefield or reporting to his lord?
Quote:
If not training in the dojo, he spends his time lounging around the house or drinking sake/smoking his pipe by the koi pond. He has an average tolerance to alcohol and gets drunk once in a while. When he gets drunk, he becomes rather aggressive and doesn't hesitate to do things he wishes to do but can't while sober.

7. Where do they live?
Quote:
Although Zenno is a high ranking officer and has the privilege of staying in the castle together with the other high ranking officers, he prefers to stay in a small house away from it as he enjoys the privacy it offers compared to staying in a room within his lord's castle. The house is composed of a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen/dining room and a small spare room (which Kotori eventually occupies). Although the house itself is quite small, the backyard is large enough to provide a suitable area for training, a garden and a koi pond which Zenno enjoys looking at while relaxing at home. Due to Zenno deeming housekeeping as something "troublesome" and "a waste of time", he tries not to get anything dirty due to not wanting to clean up after himself. Because of this, dust has accumulated all over the house and the garden has sprouted weeds everywhere. However, the only area he bothers to maintain is the koi pond and the area surrounding it.

8. Who are their lords and how are they addressed?
Quote:
Zenno's lord is called "Lord Amagi". Everyone refers to him as "Lord Amagi", "my lord" or "Amagi-sama" while Zenno rudely calls him "old man". Although Lord Amagi gets very annoyed when he is addressed in such a manner, he just lets Zenno do as he pleases as he values Zenno's presence in his army too much to let him go.

On the other hand, Kotori's former lord is called "Lord Matsuda" and is referred to as "Lord Matsuda", "my lord" or "Matsuda-sama". Amagi's side simply calls him "Matsuda".

Quote:
1. While smoking his pipe by the window one afternoon, Zennosuke notices a group of low ranking officers loitering around the perimeters of his property. He simply brushes it off, thinking they were merely patrolling the area. However, he soon finds out that they have frequently been visiting Kotori ever since they caught a glimpse of her doing the laundry in the backyard. Zennosuke unknowingly becomes extremely jealous and attempts to scare them off.

Quote:
2. On a rainy night, Zennosuke comes home seriously wounded from an ambush as he was escorting one of his lord's relatives to another town. Kotori rushes over to help him but is brushed off as Zennosuke claims that it was "merely a scratch". He doesn't want to admit that he was caught off guard and attempts to treat his wounds by himself but fails miserably. Kotori eventually treats his wounds and Zennosuke realizes that Kotori was someone who truly cared about him despite being her former enemy.

Quote:
3. Zennosuke reminisces on the night Kotori attempted to assassinate him in his sleep way before their encounter on the battlefield. At that time, he was unable to see her face due to the red scarf she had wrapped around her neck and over her mouth. However, while holding her close in the darkness of his room, he recalls a familiar set of purple eyes. The cold eyes that stared down at him that night were replaced by soft and innocent ones before him.

Quote:
4. Kotori wakes up three days later to an unfamiliar room with a gash on her right side and a few other scratches and bruises all over her body from her fight with Zennosuke on the battlefield. She recalls how he saved her from being executed by her lord who thought that if he couldn't have her, no one should.

Quote:
5. Zennosuke decides to sit and relax by his beloved koi pond, a pipe in his hand and a couple of sake bottles next to him. His mind wanders off to different matters and settles on a certain young woman in his home. He wonders how it was possible that a mere servant's presence could make him feel a range of emotions he didn't think he possessed or why he suddenly started to care and yearn for her so much though he convinced himself that she was just there to serve him and nothing more.

Quote:
6. The blanket scenario. Zennosuke and Kotori get stuck in a cabin during a snow storm. What are they supposed to do when there's only one blanket in the small cabin?

Quote:
7. Being the possessive man that he is, Zennosuke refuses to let Kotori out of the house and prevents other people, men to be specific, from seeing her. Due to this, Kotori starts to feel a little lonely as other than Zennosuke, who is hardly around due to important matters at the castle , she has nobody else to talk to. Zennosuke notices this and secretly pays the owner of a teahouse to let her work part-time for them, thus, allowing her to interact with more people. Zennosuke grows anxious due to the attention she gets from other male customers and decides to visit the shop everyday, all the while pretending not to know her.

Quote:
8. On the way back from the market, Kotori is harassed by a couple of thugs. Worrying that her identity would be exposed and Zennosuke would get into trouble, she decides to play the damsel in distress. Zennosuke witnesses this on his way home and saves her, sending the thugs to the hospital in the process.

Quote:
9. One night, Kotori is suddenly visited by one of her former master's spies. He tells her that her parents are actually alive and that if she fails to kill Zennosuke, her parents will die. Not knowing that it was merely a lie, Kotori sneaks into Zennosuke's room in an attempt to kill him, despite her growing feelings for the man.

Quote:
10. Zennosuke and Kotori have been married for quite some time and have a child together, a little boy they named Yoru. Growing up, Yoru found it difficult to get along with other children due to the piercing red eyes he inherited from his father. Despite having a meek personality, children refuse to play or speak with him out of fear. Not finding his mother at home, he seeks out his father instead who he fears but looks up to greatly. Zennosuke, however, finds it difficult to speak with his son knowing that the little boy may cry at his harsh tone. He awkwardly holds him on his lap and listens to his son's problems.

Quote:
11. While hanging out the laundry one afternoon, Kotori suddenly collapses due to a cold she caught after getting drenched in the rain while out spying the night before. Zennosuke finds her and takes care of her.

Quote:
12. Zennosuke's lord finds out that Kotori is one of his enemy's former spies. Unwilling to believe that Zennosuke took her under his wing after being betrayed by her lord, he orders his men to execute her. Zennosuke refuses to turn in his lover and decides to run away with her. They travel for many days and end up in a small but peaceful town and despite their violent and blood-stained pasts, they decide to settle down and live normal lives.
