Fixing Time

An apprentice mechanic starts tinkering with a Clock Egg...so it starts tinkering with him! The hands start spinning backwards rapidly as he mutters to himself and pauses in irritation as his voice gets higher, then he feels a sudden breeze and is alarmed to see he looks like a teenager - the clock is making him younger! He frantically struggles to fix things as he descends into childhood, but his hammer is too heavy, his clothing way too big, and he's just too short to reach the hands...by the time the clock stops, he's just a baby, and can only cry at his mistake.

Well, they're characters that haunt me every once and a while, so I don't have a precise idea of their storyline yet. That explains such a vague prompt, stare So, well... They're both leaders of neighboring countries, one planning to attack the other. For a certain part of the story, they're negociating with each other, get to know each other (not in a romantic way, I mean. He's pretty scary and threatening, and while she doesn't show it, she's somewhat scared, so it's knowing/trying to know each other's weakness), play chess. So maybe a scene of these negociations?
