Arms locked tight, fan whirring above, radio blaring between the sounds of moans and there he sat. Back against the table, love letter clenched, the one that would never reach her. He stood and walked away, memories embracing his body. Tongue poised, words ready, heart pounding, ready to speak the three words that would have carried them away. But it was too late, her sun-kissed skin against another, him walking away in silence. Walking away with an unanswered love. A love drama with tragic hero and a villain who knew not. But that’s what unrequited meant and now he knew.

let's see. . . you've always been good at fitting a good amount of information into the frame given. yay for polysynthetic words and being concise. other than that, your last drabble here has an excellent double meaning, though I hate to say hidden because you presented it very well. I'm dumb right now. I can't think of the word. elongated metaphor? yeah you did that, but not at the same time. I don't know. it's a good thing, regardless. personally I think you were TOO blatant with it, but from an academic standpoint it was well written.

excellent grammar and syntax, like usual. this is what you need to be able to write a meaningful situation into a hundred words.

to tell you the truth, I didn't bother to look up the terminology haha. it seemed sort of unneeded since they can easily be replaced with common terms, I think. I think I'll go back now and see if the meaning of the word is essential to the imagery.
