Phew. Finally finished a few subsections myself. Three chunks of culture are now done, and I had to shift a ton of stuff to do it. Apparently I did not leave nearly enough space for everything.

I'm super excited, hehe! yum_puddi
Alright so, I'm working on the start up section. With the races etc section, I have an issue. The reason im doing this challenge is to better establish the hall of worlds with some better motivation, so I have only the basics of it. And because the hall of worlds links all these worlds together, there could be hundreds of different races and species which will be established as I go along. I haven't even decided if the rest of the world will be populated or just the halls city, and if they are by what sort of creatures...

I'm getting a vague idea, but nothing concrete.

Though I suppose I could just list some races from worlds linked to the hall...
There's the zarackna and samman people, and the Atlantans, and those of incendia... Eh
/thinking

It's your choice on how broadly you want to define the scope of your world. The challenge is meant for something big and diverse, so if you are using it for just one limited space you will probably not have enough information to fill everything out. If the location your thinking of is connected to other things, then the challenge is really built to have you think about everything that is connected in your world, and having too much to write about is never a problem!

So if this hall is just one part of a greater universe, I would make the universe the focus of the overall challenge and then use a number of the prompts that are suited to flesh out the hall.
I just want to share this

Oh gosh I've been bad. The link should be working now!

Hi, I'm going to be starting my world over again. I'm going to be keeping the same link and all, but the world I started wasn't for any particular story I was going to write (just wanted the practice of world building), but then I got a new story idea and I need a new world for it. I figure that I may as well use this challenge to work up the motivation/inspiration to work on it, but I don't want to have two worlds in the ongoing process, so I'm going to discard the one I was working on.

I hope that's okay with you? You can delete my current profile and I'll post a form again as though it were a new entry, if you'd like. I just thought I'd let you know =P

[EDIT]
All the start-up prompt info was changed. Feel free to read whenever you want =)
Printing this so that I can do it over the summer since my computer died.

All prompts together are like forty pages long. Whoa.
