Heaven Is Gold

May friendship hold our lives together

Tragic melodies sway forever

Dwell darkness go into our soul

Monster we are, monster we born.

Without my life, for our fate would been

In the hands of god and and into heaven

Divine places such as that

Should not be wasted till our death

May our sins plead but wash away

From that such a very memorable day

Moonlight shines for the dark to see

Moonlight beams for god to flee

Sunlight shines for god to know

Sunlight beams for the dark to go

Enemies such can collide

Friendship is a power never less to pride

Until one dies of sorrow and needs

I will never open my eyes until one pleads

If to be bare to bones

Never less than sticks and stones

A heart that bleeds for you to stay

A mouth that dies for you to play

An eye for to see you cry

An heavy ear to hear your sighs

Faeries are awesome. I prefer the evil kind, but whenever I see faeries in books (which isn't often enough, and always in YA!) I'll pick up.

Both of your poems are interesting, but I personally prefer the first even if I'm not sure about the rhyming scheme (though don't look at me, my analysis of poetry is terrible because I just tended to shut off whenever anyone mentioned poetry back in high school).

Also, thought I'd stop in to say I'm still working on my piece for this. I recently had a change of heart and instead of being set in modern times, I'm setting it in the past. Also, it is taking place in Marsque(Maske?)-by-the-Sea, in England. Since cool things happen in England (and that my first choice, Pomelia, was sadly not available).

I promise not to basterdize England too much with my un-English-being. xD

I do that too, because I have a terrible habit of only coming up with plot ideas that could fit a novel *facepalm*. It's why I put prompts for this contest, it's so annoying to have a contest that says "Anything Goes!". Grrr, I need prompts, dammit!
