Short story contest! Accepting contestants 200-500k rewards!

I'm quitting Gaia and it seems a waste to just leave my account with millions on it!



Some of my gold I'm giving away to friends but for the most part I'm 'selling' it away in contests! I want your words and you want my gold. :}
There will be three categories all with 3 or so topics each.
These will be pretty broad categories so I'm hoping to get a diverse amount of content!!

Rules:

1.I want to see proper grammar and spelling! When it comes to stories, that I'm reading, I am a total grammar nazi! If I see anything like this: I cried sexily I just wanted 2 go 2 the commen room and slit my wrists with mi friends while we watched Shark Attak 3 and Saw 2 and do it with Draco but I knew I had 2 do somefing more impotent. (excerpt from My immortal)
You will be disqualified.
The prizes are going to be huge and you have to earn them.

2. Follow the gaia rules/tos nothing too sexual or violent

3. Nothing about suicide

4. You can enter more than one category but you can only do one topic per category

5. Poem/Story(s) must be an origional work of the writer


General Guidelines
If you want to participait just send me a pm stating the topic(s) you want to do. You can do more than one if you want but you can only take first place once.

When you've finished your story send me another Pm with your story in the body and the title in the subject line

If you want to send a donation (the contest is free to join) feel free, but I'd much rather you go to my store (A link can be found on my page) and buy something that you want. :}

Categories!!

1. Scifi & Fantasy combo
Topic one: Robotic Fairies- doesn't matter what its about, it just has to have a fairy with some kind of robotic part (a robotic arm or something)


Topic Two:
Mechanical Atlantis- a story based in Atlantis with a description of its mechanics.


Topic 3:
Aliens! Self explanatory :3


2. Apocalyptic
Topic One: City Survival- a group or single person surviving in a city post apocalypse- but not very long after whatever apocalypse.


Topic Two: Zombie Apocalypse! Pretty self explanatory I think.


Topic Three: Several years after the world ends, how are people getting on?



3. Poetry!
There are no topics for this category. It doesn't matter what you do as long as its poetic. There will only be one winner for this section.

Trapped

Lights flickering,
heart racing,
and the train keeps on the track
with wheels turning rhythmically in the forever tunnels.

A Flutter here,
wings move there.
Every wall, seat, window and door,
covered in moths.

Feel the need to scream,
though no one is around to hear.
No one is ever around to hear the screams or the cries.

Just take a deep breath
and move slowly.
Slowly.

Closer and closer the trains cart comes to an end and there’s hope!
Hope to be free from a cage of fear and loneliness.
Open the door and hope runs dry.
Moths, still everywhere.

The wheels turning doesn’t skip a beat unlike the racing heart
but still,
can’t stop.

The next cart is the same and the one after that.
Anxiety building,
breathing faster,
The tears begin to burn the eyes.

But then there’s a door,
a door with no moths.
Quickly!
Open the door and get through!

It’s safe. There are no moths here.
Breathe out slowly.
But then, there’s a beat of large wings.
Feeling dread,
turn around

and I wake up in my bed,
cold,
sweating,
trembling.

It was all just a bad dream.
Until I turn around,
Seeing the true source of why I’m feeling trapped.
I see you.

The Bracelet...

We were friends from the start; this is where our story begins.
We became lovers, though the distance so far between.
Everything felt right, but as time went on it all fell apart.
Before we knew it, everything came to an end.

The pages filled with tears, silent words never said.
She feeling like a monster, guilty of things she'd done.
A few years pass, hearing what he did.
More tears find their way, at the thought of being gone.

Never an angel, never what she seemed.
Knowing something was wrong, too good to be true.
Always hiding secrets, not quite sure what to believe.
She pushed too far; finally had enough I'm through.

She was the last to know, wasn't able to say good-bye.
The small box fell from shaky hands, hitting the tile floor.
He never heard her cry, never knew the reason why.
A bracelet tumbles out, as the contents of the box was bore.

As he took his last few breaths, he turned his head.
He saw his bracelet there, once broken in a fight.
In a hazy view she was there, her tears too much to bear.
Whispering words she said, "It will be alright."

In a moment she was gone; in her place was a feather.
The pain was gone, but not from his heart.
He still loved her now she's gone, never to be together.
A whisper in the wind, "We'll never be apart."
